I was trying to load Win98 in VB also b/c I have one old program that will run with WINE but I thought it might do better with an older Windows (closer to when it was released). I was keeping it up for two programs that are Windows only but now that I've got Windows in VB on my new PC I don't need to do that.
I never understood why my Zero client at work would still take all day to update when everything I had to use was supposedly in the cloud? Now that I updated my old PC to Windows 10 I have to turn it on a day before I want to use it. I thought updates on that were bad until work went to Windows 10.
I ran Windows 7 Pro on my 10 year old PC for as long as I could. That OS was simply throwing so much errors such as ssl connections errors, please update your browser to continue, etc etc. "Last time I have tried to install XP (not 98) and it was waste of time.
